Wow! Cook County finally passed a vote of 15 to 1 to repeal that ridiculous sweet beverage (soda) tax! They can't get this tax off the books fast enough!

But with over 37,000 people leaving Chicago last year in 2016 (population decrease), which is a big part of Cook County, beware of the next tax that they will try and come up with to make up for this loss of tax base. Is it me...., cause with less citizens to serve, shouldn't there be less county employees to reflect that lower percentage% of citizens. Again, beware because Cook County will try and keep every last employee that they don't need and can't afford, if they find a way to come up with another savvy tax.
