Avoid delaying your 2018 refund with this mistake...

Starting in 2018, the IRS will hold/delay your 2017 tax refunds if you omit the information in relation to the Affordable Care Act. Make sure you answer line 61:

individual shared responsibility payment, exempt, or full year health coverage in relation to your current tax situation to avoid any holds or delays on your refund. In previous years, they would refund you first and then mail you a bill for payment. This has become to problematic for the IRS, and in 2018 they are holding/delaying refunds (before they send them) for additional information.
